Singapore – 28 September, 2009– The National University of Singapore (NUS) – SEMICAPS team comprising Jacob Phang, Chua Choon Meng, Alfred Quah and Goh Szu Huat received the President’s Technology Award 2009 from His Excellency, President SR Nathan, on 28 September 2009 at the Istana.The other team members, Koh Lian Ser, Tan Soon Huat and Chua Wah Pheng,were also present at the Presentation Ceremony. The team was honored for their outstanding contributions to the research, development and commercialisation of scanning optical microscope systems for design debug and failure analysis of advanced integrated circuits which have been adopted by some of the world’s top semiconductor manufacturers.
