SEMICAPS 2200 Active Capture System
The Active system controls the electron beam, providing signal averaging that enables noise
free images to be captured from the analog SEMs. Our unrivaled pixel-by-pixel averaging on
an Active Capture System provides high quality images that are equivalent to film. Line or
frame signal averaging modes are also available for minimizing charging and contamination
on the sample.
Selective small area scan mode is available with averaging. Significant noise reduction is
achieved and is useful for high resolution or low voltage imaging when signal to noise ratio
is poor.

SEMICAPS 2200 Passive Capture System
The Passive system taps the video signals going to the SEM's photomonitor wihout interfering
with the SEM operation. Concurrent hardware averaging is done on the video signals to achieve
the highest quality images. Resolution up to the number of raster lines of the SEM photo unit is
possible. The Passive system captures the data information from the SEM monitor and saves the
digitized images into file format as the Active system.
SEMICAPS 2200 Camera Capture System
The Camera system allows user to grab images from the instruments with standard video
outputs (RS170, NTSC or PAL). This system has multiple channels of up to 3 input ports in
which different instruments can be connected.
